Yes, I started with this in late Dec last year but I am finally done with it! A couple of false starts, chart riddled with errors; this was a pesky kid crying for attention.

Details in this entry: http://vintagefusionhandcrafts.blogspot.com/2005/03/feeling-productive.html

And I've got my FBS done up too....

Its too gorgeous for words.

Every day may not be a good day to die, but every day is a good day to eat pancakes.

That's an amazing sweater--I like the Fair Isle & cables combo. The fit is perfect, like you say.

That sweater is amazing, to say the least. I believe it was worth the work, and you will be rewarded with tons of compliments and folks asking where you got it. Its so classic looking--looks fantastic on you. I was disappointed to read your comments about how difficult this pattern is...there's no way i could knit that, even if the pattern was well-written! Smiley Great work

My favorite part is the fit...it's perfect on you.  Oh yeah, then there's the amazing cables and cool fair isle pattern.  I second Tere, worth the work (and the headaches!).

This is possibly the most beautiful sweater I have ever seen!  It looks so perfect on you.  The shaping!  The color!  Your amazing craftsmanship!  I had to look twice before I believed that the photo on your blog wasn't from the magazine.

Who was the designer of this lovely garment?  I'm hoping that I'll go home and find VK Winter 2002 on my shelf.  (And if I do, I'll be bugging you with all sort of questions about this project.  I want to knit this!!!!!)

You are my knitting hero!

Okay, I raced right home and looked up Vogue Knitting Winter 2002. Although it does show photos of my sister's fingers in the article on knitting and purling back backwards, I don't see the pattern for your beautiful sweater.  Could you let me know where your found this pattern?

Still swooning......
