This was a pouch given to me by a friend who picked it out of a neighbour's garbage. It was ripped below the velcro closure, so, as I was sewing it up, I decided to re-vamp the bag. I removed the ugly brand logo sewn on the front of the bag. To perk it up more, I added an old tie lying around in a drawer. There was a belt loop at the back, which I wanted to keep, that I also hid with the tie. I didn't think of taking before pictures, but this is the end result... tell me what you think! I'm actually quite proud of it  Embarrassed

I'm sure it looks much better than when it was new.  I admire the use of ties in bag making and yours takes this bag to a whole new level.  It's a great pattern and matches the fabric really well.  The bow also adds charm.
