I've been playing around with sketching and doodling on vintage ceramics and tableware after seeing so many cool projects that people have been posting.

I went to a local antique store and went CRAZY. Vintage tableware. Awesome. I came out with wayyy more stuff than I have room in my lil apartment for. I'm finally getting around to having the balls to paint on them (since they're cool already as vintage pieces). Hopefully I'll be able to get rid of some through gifts, donations or sales.

Anyway, here is my favorite thing I've done so far. I doodled some lace on it. It's simple, but it's elegant. I love the color of the dishes. It's so different than anything we have around today.

Thanks for looking!!

I love all the stuff I've seen you post so far, but I think this is by far my favorite. I heart vintage ceramics!

Thanks!  I love this one. I kind of felt bad painting on it...but it was kind of distressed to begin with. I've got a small collection of fiestaware I'm going to trick out sometime in the next week or so. Smiley
