Oh man I have to make some of these!
I have a few sheets of felt (bought for making felt food) and a ton of old clothes I can cut up for pattern and texture.

here's my lil' army...they're being mailed out to my swap pals shortly...for the handmade bird swap hosted by dragonmama... i modified the pattern a bit, opting for my own version of the base and adding little pocketses up front and wings.

 Grin i loved all of your owls so much i had to make some too ! this little family of owls were a gift for my friends daughters 3rd birthday the nest is just made from the sleeve of an old jumper and i am now strangely inspired to make " the owl and the pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat " for my kids Smiley thanks for sharing the pattern !
