Beautiful, beautiful baby. Just gorgeous!

Guys, I feel like cryin'! I totally tangled up the yarn that the noodle princess sent me while I was trying to wind it up into a ball. Any advice other than not to pull my hair out?  Embarrassed I must say though, it makes a beautiful tangled mess. The colors are so vibrant.

All I can say is be patient...work carefully, don't freak out or it will only get worse! I hate getting stuff tangled but as I love to tell people I come from a long line of yarn-detanglers, lol. Every time I'm trying to get knots out of stuff my mom goes crazy, "CAN I HELP YOU WITH THAT, I'M REALLY GOOD UNTANGLING STUFF" and I'm just like, it's fine mom, really, I got it. Tongue

Did my spinning today, it looks great! I'm excited about it. Cheesy

Since my daughter was the oldest............and for the last years I've only had boys............... Roll Eyes ..........she's gonna be completely rotten when I'm done with her!   Grin Grin Grin  Yay for someone to knit for!   Cheesy

LissaW!!  wazzza wazzza!  What a beautiful family!!!  Congrats Nana!

I received your package today and it is sitting on the counter unwrapped, until I get my packages sent out.

I'm glad it made it safe and sound..... Smiley  LOL............you're a stronger one than I.............I'd hafta peek.......... Tongue  *sqeeeeeee!*  I hope you like it!   Cheesy

Oh dear hon!  Sorry to hear of the mess.  I totally agree with oddacity..........take your time.  I always try to fish out the end that's not tangled............and place it around a chair or something to stabilize it..............then I go for the tangles.  I too need to invest in a yarn winder............... Roll Eyes  My five year old is already tired of "helping" Mommy...........  Cheesy

yup.  The world is against me with this swap.....  I'm spinning away making this yarn  (which turned out gorgeous btw  and was attempt 2 on the yarn for Oddacity.) Get it on the niddy noddy, take it off to set the twist and just measure the weight because I wanted to know the exact weight (because I carded it all and did the math myself)  Turns out I did the math wrong.  I'm an ounce short.  Honest to goodness, I'm going crazy.  how did I mess up the math that bad!!!   Cry    Now I've got to start over, or make it 2 skiens.......  le sigh....   making 2 skeins changes it though... oy...  I guess the best thing is to sleep on it.  I will win.... just not without a fight......

so thats where I am swap wise.   But now I'm off to bed, to maybe dream strange as dreams again....

Aww don't stress too much Belladune!! I'm just excited to see what you send! Also because I don't have the tools/skills/confidence whatever combo of those to do anything fancier than dye + spin, so I'm over here worrying that I won't have put enough special detail and love into my stuff. :[ BUT I'M TRYING NOT TO because I'm sitting here looking at what is an almost complete package and the colors make me happyyyyyy and I hope they will be the same for you. :]

I'm sure I will love everything you send me!    I've decided to make another skien, so it will come in two pieces, hope you don't mind.  It will sstill be just as wonderful, just a bit different then I intended it to be, but thats not the end of the world.  The other half of my medium item just needs to be put together, and I'll be ready to send I think....  I'l have to get it all in one place and see if I've got everything LOL

Hope you are all doing well! Sounds like everyone is good. Smiley

Just touching base with everyone. My week has been less than productive with the aches and pains. I just updated the first posts of the thread to show who has received. The packages have been beautiful.

Hopefully I'll be sending my own out soon.

*As far as feedback goes, I plan on giving feedback to swappers when both partners have received and posted in the gallery. I updated that on the front page as well.*
So if you've received or sent your package, please PM me. I don't want to have to go back through the thread to figure out who's gotten their package yet. It is part of the swap guidelines to PM your partner and organizer if you've sent/received. It helps organizers keep up with what is going on. Smiley  (SWAPPING GUIDELINES)

Everyone have a great day!

Just checking in... I'm nearly finished with everything! Just need to work on a medium and weigh everything again. I'm just waiting on my new digi-scale to come in the mail, as the last one got fried the other day while I was making soap :/

I'm thinking I like it some of the dying I did this weekend much better than some of the fiber I originally thought I would send for this swap.

I also picked up supplies for the medium so I'll be finishing that up soon.
