Hey ladies & gentleman - I'm going to be MIA for the rest of the day. I'm sick as a dog. So if you have any questions, please PM freestyle or be patient with me. It's been a terrible morning. Stomach bugs = no good.

okay there we go.  on the left is a rolled rolag (or cigar as I've seen it called)  On the right is straight off the hand cards.   the fiber is going in the same direction on both.

i may not be the best carder, but hey. I try

Thanks! I guess I am doing it right.  I think I just expect it to look like roving when I am done or something. Smiley

SML- I hope you get feeling better.

Today I got some dying done. The fiber didn't take the dye as planed.
one of my blues is finicky.

Just checking my PMs. Thanks for all the get wells. It's been a really rough day with an 18 month old by myself so sick. Starting to feel a bit better tonight.  Roll Eyes Not my plan for the day.

Sounds like lots of fibery goodness and fun went on today. Yay for hand carding! Yay for fiber scouring! Yay for dyeing!

freestyle - I'm sure you're so anxious for that wheel. I'm anxious for you. I'm sure the second you get it you'll fly to the computer and let us know. lol Or at least, that's what I'd do.

My fiber should all start rolling in, in the next few days. I ordered from 6 different places and I'm expecting packages from Twiz (who rocks for sending me some of her precious roving, btw). Grin Hopefully I'll have happy partners!  Wink (Who I promise I will communicate more with when I'm feeling better.  Embarrassed)
