I'm still playing around with socks and made a few more monsters. The first is my Socktopuss. I made this one up as I went along... pretty much because I had lots of toe socks and couldn't think of much to do with them. I used the toes from the socks and extended them to be the legs. The head/body came from the bulk of one sock. Felt eyes and a little fabric paint finished her off. She's not perfect, but I doubt I'll be making another- those legs were a PAIN. Feel free to use my idea and make your own though! Smiley

And speaking of toes socks- here's one of my Sock-Cocks. He's a rooster head sock monster, made out of yet another toes sock. The wobbly things under his beak (not sure what they're called) were made from two toes of the mate sock. A few buttons and a felt beak and he's good to go. I used the instructions from the 'Pretty Little Pincushions' book for him, though I did alter the beak a little. If you like pin cushions, pick up that book. It's really great!

Thanks for looking!!
