I hope this is ok to post here, should it be in the reconstructed thread? Anywho. I love these! I just glued the lil guys together so they wouldn't lose their bodies or legs, drilled into their heads (strangely fun, I felt a bit like a mad scientist  doing brain surgery with goggles on Wink ) screwed in some screw eyes and attached earring wires. Voila! Cute and geeky. I'm sure this has been done before, although I've never seen it myself, but it's so simple and obvious.

I'd post an action shot, but I look like crap today. Maybe this weekend when I bother to put some make up on  Roll Eyes
Thanks for looking!

I LOVE star wars, and these are amazing.
I think you are the most brilliant person ever.  And I am curios to make my own, to experience the mad scientist head drilling bit first hand.

wow, those are amazing.

I guess my little brother will start hating me now when I steal all of his Star Wars Lego Collection to make earrings  Grin

(I agree with you kellyhelene. Star Trek Lego earrings would be sweet!)

Thanks for your kind comments!
Star Trek and Battlestar would be awesome. Shame they don't do those in Lego. Maybe I should get practising with the polymer clay...

i love that they are stormtroopers and not regular lego people! earrings like these always make me smile

I made a few earrings quite similar to yours and i just wanted to share my best-way-ever-to-make-holes-in-little-lego-parts: i heated a needle (over a candle, just for a few seconds) and stung it trough the desired part of the lego person's body. if you are sceptic: it will go trough like your lego was a piece of butter, i promise.

i love the idea of mad-scientists thrilling holes trough heads, but the needle method may be easier for some of you

I think I will try this with a heated needle. It sounds like a good idea, even if I have to miss the mad-scientist feeling for that ...  Undecided

Star Trek and Battlestar would be awesome.

Since I'm just started watching Battlestar last weekend (a friend lend me the DVDs and I'm almost done with the first season now) I am in the middle of a huge "I love BSG"-Phase.
So you definitely would need to show us your result if you find a way of making those.

I think trek could be accomplished with standard lego people and some paint.  BSG, well... yeah for the humans and new cylons, but no idea for the old school ones.
