Was inspired by the green button table.  Ended up costing way more than I thought, but it gave me something to do.  By the way, if anyone knows where I can buy round mirrors of different sizes in bulk, please PM me.  I have tried ebay, but all I found was square ones. I am using this as a bed side table & would like to make another one for the other side of the bed.

wow
that must have been a lot of work, and you must have a lot of patience.
Did you cut all of those???
I don't know where you can buy them in bulk, but i wish you luck with finding someplace where you can!

Local glass cutters usually have lot of mirror bits lying around that they would love to get rid of, but circles aren't the normal shape of scrap/cutting byproducts. Check your Yellow Book listings, ask a local craft group or even the school art teacher. I know it's annoying but you gotta put in the legwork to save a buck.

Anyway, great job. Very well executed!

What a nifty idea; it would be just perfect with candles on it in the dark. (Okay, maybe that's just me- I love candles.)
Here's some quick google work:

Wow!  That's a great looking table.  It must have taken hours to put it together.  What did you put on the border?  Or is it just the mirrors?

Nice work.

I painted the whole table black, then just the edge silver. I got the mirrors in small bags of 10 -15 in a bag at Walmart, Micheal's, & Ben Franklin.  I first put the large ones around the edge & then just worked the other one's in.  I modge-podged them on.  Took about 4 -5 weeks. I was constantly buying all they had & would have to wait for more to come in. Gave me something to do while watching my shows instead of putting food in my mouth-- lol

Wow this is pretty cool! I bet it looks great with stuff on top when you can see the reflections. I too was inspired by the green button table, my response is floating around craftster.

you might ask the manager of the craft stores if they could put in a large order specifically for you...
sometimes they can offer a discount with a larger purchase, and then you wouldn't have to wait for the store to restock!
