My first post was the following link of some shrinky dink charm bracelets. I was DELIGHTED that people actually looked and commented. It feels so....encouraging.

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=304867.0

I thought I'd post the earrings I made, too!

The pair on the right is a high-five to my favorite book, Watership Down. One says "Fiver" and the other says, "Hazel"  Cheesy

I've found that the swarovski crystal beads I've had from previous jewelry projects look pleasant with the color of the dinks...

My husband likes the raccoon ones. They are kinda funny Kiss

That's all I've got for now... But I go on craft kicks, I'll probably make like 20 more pair before I realize and then quit for a while and make a stupid amount of some other craft. That's how I ROLL!

Gorgeous! Out of interest, what brand punch are you using? Mine won't even consider dinks of the shrink Sad

The one I used for these ones is McGill MULTITAGS Scallop...or at least that's what it says on it. It does a pretty crappy job, though. I have to place it up-side-down on my desk, line up the shrinky sheet and then press down on it full force, kind of rocking as I go in order to get the punch through.

For my bigger sized ones and my earring cards, I use a Marvy Uchida punch, that has more of a lever mechanism and it works INFINITELY better...Much easier to punch through. They're like 18 bucks though, more than I usually ever want to spend on a single crafting endeavor, but I used a 50% off coupon at michaels. It was good and completely worth it, considering all of the use I get out of it.

They are rubber stamp designs, but I just trace them.

The shrinky dink package says they get about 1/3 of the original size, but I've found that it's closer to 1/4. You best bet to figure out sizes to make them are to make some practice ones. Measure before and after! Since I usually use the same punches, I have a pretty good idea of what punch will end up a certain size!

Absolutely gorgeous.  Hard to pick a favorite because they're all so wonderful.  I think I'd have to pick the raccoon though. Smiley  Great job.  Very inspiring.
