So I was wondering if anyone in the area was up for starting a knitting group? I am in Alta Loma most of the time and another friend who is interested is out in Fontana. I don't know were we would meet up yet, but someplace probably in between. Right now I am just looking to see if there is any interest.

I run a sewing/craft circle in the Inland Empire (in downtown Riverside)! We do workshops on a variety of different techniques and projects. Workshops are low cost or free. Our next one is a beginner's knitting workshop, but we have plenty of knowledgeable seamstresses and other crafters who come and hang out and work on their own projects too. I've been looking to start a weekly/biweekly knitter's circle, soley devoted to knitting.    It might be kinda far but there's alsways special events too. I'm putting the feelers out for new crafty seekers... Interested?

Hi there,
I am moving to Riverside from Denver at the end of August and am looking for a knitting/craft group.  Where and when does your sewing/craft group meet?  I'd love to come by once we get settled.

The Little Bird Sewing Circle meets in downtown Riverside at The Life Arts Center where I have a studio. The address is 3485 University Ave., Riv Ca, 92501. Usually we meet Tuesdays. I can put you on the mailing list if you send me your email. Also, email me at kimchi_art@hotmail.com.  I have a myspace page that explains more: myspace.com/litttle_bird  Hope to see you!

Oh I would love to meet up on Tuesday nights for some knitting.  Smiley  Maybe I'll stop by your studio sometime if you're going to be having a special knitting group.
