my first though was  "holy crap, thats so rad!"

then i read on and saw that you rewired it to actually play stuff from your ibook. and then i thought "oh my god, this guy is a genius."

that is so freeking cool, i totally flipped when i saw it!  and the fact that you can play music out of it with your ibook is amazing!

You know you're a music nerd when ...  Wink Of course I say that 100% complimentarily.  I love love love love this, and I'm about to get a Power Book.  I suspect it could work the same way for that?  I smell a thrift store blitz.  Thanks for the inspiration!!  Grin

This is fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing it. It's very inspiring. I'm tempted to try to snag a boombox of my own to try and minic yours with. Although my ibook is 14". But I am seriously so amazed by yours. Way to go!

Watch the girls flock to the crafty cute boy!  And here I am, added to their number!  Ah well, what can I say; it's a rarity!  I think I speak for all the craftster females when I say we are happy (some may even call it overjoyed) to welcome you to the forum!  That is probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen.   I mean, I was impressed when I saw it was a bag, never mind actually being wired to play music!  Great site too!  Reminds me of the goofy things my friends and I do!  Well, Anthony, I think we're all looking forward to seeing more of you!  Wink

I got so confused too, it's 8:30 am, and I was just like, oh wow, new featured projects!  So I clicked on the first one, and I was like wait, that looks like my name on that post, but it can't be... but this is starting to look familiar......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am impressed all over the place, by the very idea as much as the actual constuction.  taking music to the streets.  yes.

p.s. crafty cute boys are a rarity.  we crafty gals totally totally dig them.

Holy crap! I'm in love with your skills, photography and crafty both. Gives me hope for the guys I've met before that have been appalled by the idea of guys doing anything but physical activities.

Well, your college backpacking pics give me a happy feeling, knowing that I too can travel out of North Dakota on a smaller budget than I thought. Besides, it's all for the adventure Smiley

I want to make one now, and ask the tech-savvy boy to make it connectable.
