Oh my god!  I see kiddies invites and quirky birthday cards or notes or letters inside all of these.  Fantastic idea.  I have a few "odd" damaged books lying around at home!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE!!! They are just lovely and whimsical and I'd be delighted to receive one! Handwritten letters are wonderful anyway, and with such charming envelopes they'd be even better!

You could make an envelope book/notebook. They make great presents!
blank sheets of different kinds of paper between the envelopes and then bind them. I prefer to take them to Staples/office Max and have the covers laminated and then wirebound.

They look wonderful!

 Grin Grin Grin Grin i actually had one of the books u used for ur envelopes. the one with the horses pouring tea....something about the magic pebble or something.... i loved that book and i think ur idea is a great idea!!!! what a lovely way to keep ur old w/ the new. plus i love the smell of old books.
