This is the last addition to mindboggld's towel...

Marvin the Paranoid Android, from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Life.  Don't talk to me about life.  Brain the size of a planet and they ask me to go down to the bridge.  You call that job satisfaction, 'cause I don't.

I loved the juxtaposition between this sweet winsome robot, offering its heart on a string, and crabby Marvin.

And into the mail it goes tomorrow.

Mindboggld, I'd love to see the completed angel towels, so feel free to post away, if that's what you'd like!

It's MARVIN!!!!!
Do you want me to sit in a corner and rust or just fall apart where I'm standing?
I think you ought to know I'm feeling very depressed.
It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level.
Life. Loathe it or ignore it. You can't like it.

LOVE IT!!!!

Ok, here are the towels I made for Snarkypants - I went with the Wallace and Gromit theme and tried to keep it around food (being tea towels Wink )

Now here's my disclaimer real quick - I'm not the best embroider (especially in this group - the talent amazes me!) but I was so happy I could do this for snarkypants.  I can't imagine what it would be like if I weren't getting my amazing robot tea towel soon.  I know that this package won't replace what she lost, but I do hope that it makes her smile Wink

Over all package:

All the teatowels:

Teatowel1:

Teatowel2:

Teatowel3:

I also made a little envelope with a surprise inside.
Front:

Back:

Surprise! It's a needlebook! Smiley

It's the least I could do with her sending me all those towels to stitch...

Smiley
I'll mail it tomorrow (or Friday).  Think you can send me your address via PM?

 Cry

That's a touched (not 'tetched', although that argument could be made) sniffle, mindboggld!

I love my angel towels!  You're too sweet to do it, and I love, love, love Wallace and Gromit.  You made excellent choices for the theme and subjects, too!

Everyone who stitched on my now-missing towel: thank you so much!  I loved seeing all of your embroidery and your clever ideas!  I'm really sad that I won't get to enjoy it in person.

It was so much fun stitching towels for all of y'all; I enjoyed having these projects to work on, and I'd definitely do it again.

The Wallace and Gromit towels are so very cool.  I've been a fan since they first came out. I am almost done with tattooedcrafter's first towel.  The next one should go alot faster. I hate that she will be out of town when they come.

I just saw that iheartzb's was delivered.  I can't wait to hear how she likes it.

mlookyloo- your towel turned out really cute. I like the randomness.

Oh, and I love the Marvin one, too.  He's the best robot ever.
