The dress looks like it was incredibly well made, and it's quite stunning! I shudder at the thought of working with brocade, but I never thought of singeing the edges. I might have to try that when I decide to get rid of the brocade in my stash.

If you are looking for a more natural tight color go to a children's dance clothing store. Most have lots of tights in many6 colors. I just love the dress.  Grin
