yeah I like the photo book idea, or maybe even like a small altered journal? or a start of a bigger one?

I really like this idea. I have photoshop but I haven't really played with it besides cleaning up pictures to post online, so this would be a great opportunity to use all of the other cool features.

haha cool dp.

I'd be very up for this! To add to the free alternatives to photoshop people have suggested, The Gimp is a really powerful image editor, as is Inkscape if you want to use vector graphics for your editing!

This sounds exciting! Smiley

Ooooo I like this idea. I got a few fun "arty" Photoshop books awhile back that I haven't had a chance to play with and this would be a great opportunity. Would it be something like sending people a USB drive w/ images on it or just email? Depending on the number of images, those could be some big attachments if we want high-quality images....

I would probably do this, if I have a swap space open. Smiley  I am very new to the world of photo editing and manipulation, and I have to say I am having a super duper blast at it!  I have photoshop elements but find it to not be very user-friendly.  I am actually doing some really fun, simple, and amazing things with just picasa and the photo editing in the windows vista version of word.  The variations are endless.  I'm actually right this moment printing out a bunch of my weirder landscapes to make a little book out of, so I like that idea.

Inkscape is GREAT, i'm a big fan of that program and it has a lot of functionalities of full on adobe creattive suite photoshop..which is a $700 program.  Yay! i'm glad to see so much interest..I'm thinking I'll post sign ups today or tomorrow...unless i hear any objections Smiley

I was thinking we could send images on CD..you can probably fit a dozen or more on there.  I would HATE to have the f-word involved in this swap and then that partner would be out a USB drive...
