kewlmomma is busy right now so i asked if i should post some pics and she said if i would like.  i believe she still plans on posting pics of her own but i wanted to show off what i made.  *sheepish grin*

here is my medium/large.  i have never made a dream catcher before but when kewlmomma said she liked Native American lore...i had to try!

close up of webbing, very proud of it...i was worried it would end up loose but it was quite taut....so much so that as i neared the end the beginning knot i tied off with popped off and i had a moment of "oh crap" with tons of tugging and loosening the web, i was able to retie and continue.  phew!

close up of feathers!  i had so much fun making this...can you tell?!

this was inspired by Native American lore but obviously not done in that style.  ravens or specifically Raven pops up in many Native American stories so these pendants feature Raven in a variety of colors!  I included a story of raven.

some amy brown stuff ordered off the site...card, sticker, and my fav color your own amy brown cards!

mermaid and fairy bamboo tile pendants

a magical chest of whimsies to attract the fairies

a set of mushroom magnets

I also included a postcard of the oregon coast and a card of the Japanese gardens here in portland...both are gorgeous and magical places in their own right, and a collection of Charles De Lint stories with a simple Korean knotted cord bookmark.

This swap was a lot of fun!  I can't wait to get my package, it left Greensboro on the 3rd according to the tracking number!

Oh my GOSH !! That is a wonderful package. I LOVE the bamboo tile pendants. What is the silver one in the middle and how do I get the art work that you put on it? I thought I had seen just about every painting like that, (knight with mermaid, nymph etc.)
I really MUST have that art to craft with. PLEEEEAAAASE share where you got it.  Smiley

It really is all beautiful !! I am digging those mushroom magnets too.  Wink

shucks, i don't think anything i've ever made was wisted before.  hehe!  i was in the most recent jar of whimsies swap so my head was in that place when i came up with the idea.

Tero, Thanks!  The shiny thing in the middle is a tin to hold the pendants.  i got the image from a seller on etsy...here's the site.  http://sinisterconcept.etsy.com  he has some very nice digital images...i love how easy it is...buy, receive images in my email, take to copy shop where they print it up on their laser printers, craft.  easy peasy.  : )

Pictures as promised!

Kewlmomma put together quite the nice package.  We love  everything!!!!!  Thank you!

I wrote that I liked lil' red riding hood so you might see a theme.

First up...loads of candy...yum! sweet stickers...incense!

fairy bookmark...i read tons so now i can stop using old receipts

now i have to explain that kewlmomma included a very sweet letter explaining her adventures in fairy land...she almost caught me a fairy but ended up with just the wings, wand, headband, and mushroom...no worries people this fairy can grow her wings back!!!

this lil' mermaid was left by the very nice fairy...see the fairy is just fine!

a very nice picnic basket (just wait)

cute apple and doughnut...(that silly mushroom, he wanted his pic taken AGAIN!)

OKAY, THIS is what you've been waiting for...Kewlmomma gave me my very own lil' red riding hood...well sort of...the baby was already mine.

and because she's cute and loves her mushroom and apple

Thanks Kewlmomma!!!
