I'm so glad to have a place to share this great idea! I wish I could take credit for it, but the idea came from a spur-of-the-moment suggestion made by a friend.

As part of a bathroom remodel, I replaced the old plastic tub/shower surround with tile, and included a row of white plastic dominoes at about eye level.

The dominoes were cut and installed just like the tile.

What I learned/should have done: should have used a belt sander on the back of the dominoes to make them the same thickness as the tile - as it is, I have a tiny ledge above the dominoes where moisture can collect. I also think the dominoes would look better installed vertically rather than horizontally.

I am currently pondering whether I can work some more dominoes into the new floor treatment...

That is sweet, nice work! I'm always looking for new ways to use dominos and I definitely never thought of that!

Great idea!  That is such a fun way to spice up the tile in the bathroom.  Cheesy

Ok, this is just too freakin' awesome.  I love the idea, and your shower looks sharp.  Nice job.
