This is one I never posted.  I made it last year.  Both fabric were bought on clearance and I only wish now (of course) I had bought more of it!

I absolutely LOVE batik fabric and this one was emroidered and very colorful!  I just made a simple peasant dress and shirred it in the middle to give it shape.  Easy peasy!

My photographers daughter is next in line for the dress so she tried it on.  She's a 4t and my daughters a 6 so it's a get your moneys worth type of dress!

very pretty and cute and the style suits her body without making her look too grownup. Kids should be able to be kids imo. lol

Your daughter is really lucky! THe dress is gorgeous and really suits her.

Do you make most of Nylas clothes? The orange outfit is great too!

I make not even half of Nyla's clothes because of time restraints. I work full-time and sew for others too. I try to mostly sew her stand out items and let Target, The Children's Place, JC Penny, etc. dress her for school and play. Desides I'm one of those crazy diva moms who freak out when she spills ketchup on that outfit I spent 5 hours making!  I let her wear one of my outfits to school last week and she came home with paint all over the pants!

its very pretty. I like batik fabric too. I should try shirring the next peasant dress I make. I freak out when my pumpkin spills stuff on the clothes that I make her too. I spent all day on her birthday outfit just for her to spill red juice on it at her party. Angry The dress is beautiful, Good Job!!!

I love the batik and the colors.  Your girl always looks so fashionable.

Peasant dresses and shirts are a fun favorite to make here also.  I love how they also make cute nightgowns if made from a yummy flannel.
