We're having a craft silent auction to benefit united way where I work and this was my submission!  It got a little extra crazy because I agreed to do it before I found out the deadline was 3 weeks away!  I still had a great time working on this coloful quilt.  It is about 50" X 70".  I used cotton batting which has a nice effect but while I was quilting it lint got just everywhere!   I washed it when I was done but I still couldn't get it lint free.  Anyone have any suggestions?

The auction ends Friday, I hope it brings in a little money.  They actually asked for a "suggested retail value" but I just didn't feel comfortable giving one.  We'll see what happens.

Thanks for looking!

This is absolutely beautiful! Congrats on getting it done in just 3 weeks. Maybe you could try using a lint roller, I use them to get rid of pet hair but it should work.  Grin

That is just so beautiful. I love the combination of brilliant color and black.
BTW, while time-consuming, one of those sticky lint-rollers would take of the lint.

Wow! I'm so impressed you could finish this in only three weeks.  Love the bright colors with the black.  Looks like stained glass!

I acutally called it a "Stained Glass Quilt" on the submission form!
