Fairy Mini Art Quilt (pictures, pictures, everywhere)

This is my first completed quilt project! I actually ended up not quilting it since I did so much embroidery on the crazy quilting part and added beads and buttons. This was for the mini art quilt swap, and my partner has now recieved!

I used Alexander Henry's Sprites of Tilbrook fabric line in the purple colorway, and also Sultry by Basic Grey for Moda.  I don't embroider very much but kittykill gave me some pointers (and loaned me a stitch book and some floss in a color I didn't have! She rocks!)











And I pieced the back a little.

There isn't one part of this I don't love.

Lol! It was one skein and I used most of it...I think she'll let me keep it! I didn't have that color but she had the perfect color in her stash!

Yippy!  You finished it.  Excellent job!  I do not know why you were worried.   I love how it turned out.  I think my favorite part is the flowers with the seed beads.

I have this fabric too (both colour lines) just waiting for the right idea to come along so I cancut it.

I've been making patchwork bags with my Sultry fabrics! I had a layer cake and used it up...so I bought a complete set of FQ's since I love that line so much!

Very pretty!!  I love the detailed embroidery!  Did you do all that by hand? WOW!

I LOVE that Alexander Henry toadstool fabric and fairy fabric!!
