We're having a craft silent auction to benefit united way where I work and this was my submission!  It got a little extra crazy because I agreed to do it before I found out the deadline was 3 weeks away!  I still had a great time working on this coloful quilt.  It is about 50" X 70".  I used cotton batting which has a nice effect but while I was quilting it lint got just everywhere!   I washed it when I was done but I still couldn't get it lint free.  Anyone have any suggestions?

The auction ends Friday, I hope it brings in a little money.  They actually asked for a "suggested retail value" but I just didn't feel comfortable giving one.  We'll see what happens.

Thanks for looking!

This is absolutely beautiful! Congrats on getting it done in just 3 weeks. Maybe you could try using a lint roller, I use them to get rid of pet hair but it should work.  Grin

That is just so beautiful. I love the combination of brilliant color and black.
BTW, while time-consuming, one of those sticky lint-rollers would take of the lint.

Wow! I'm so impressed you could finish this in only three weeks.  Love the bright colors with the black.  Looks like stained glass!

Beautiful quilt!!
You did a great job - pattern, fabrics, sashing, and quilting.
They all work so well together!!  Cheesy

I've had the fuzz problem too.  Mine was due to little fibers from the batting.  I think it's called "bearding".  I used masking tape  Grin and that got off most of it.

Wow! Gorgeous - I love it! Is it your own design? I haven't seen a pattern like that before. I like the free-spirit feel of it!

Wow, this is beautiful.  And I don't dig quilts.  The combination of bright colors and black (instead of pastels) is dramatic and gorgeous, and the crazy-quilt patches *mixed with* a standard, repeating pattern gives so much more visual interest than all-crazy or all-pattern would be.  Fabulous!

I would say (if it is not too late already) to put it in the dryer with dryer sheets - that's what someone told me for a similar situation and it worked perfectly.

I love your stack n whack crazy 9 patch!  I keep saying I'm going to make one of these!  Yours is very inspirational to say the least!  Just sharp all around - I love your black to highlight all the fun bright colors!!
