Tea Wallet with vintage button and ribbon:

Opened up:

Definitely needs some tweaking. If you notice the upper right corner...it's basically messed up. I couldn't quite get that corner to look like a corner. Ah well. It looks nice closed, at least.  Cheesy

I like it and didn't even notice the right-hand corner until I read about it.  I love the fabric choice, too.

I want one!! That is so cute and I love the fabric.

I have the same problems with corners. lol It's usually only the spot where I have to turn the fabric right side out. It never looks as good as the rest of the project!

But I still love your Tea Wallet!!

That's so cute, I really have to make myself one of these.

Good job, and have you tried cutting the corner off from the inside (the spare fabric not past the stitching) this should give you less bulk then if you use a seam ripper from the outside you can carefully tease out the corner until it looks squarish. Hope this makes sense it's what I do with change purses and it does the trick as long as you're gentle with it.

Thanks for the comments.  Smiley

Samantha.Arch: That is exactly where everything goes wrong for me too. I can never get it to look right!
Mink_Bikini: That does make sense to me! Actually, I did do the first part (trimming the corners from the inside) on my latest tea wallet and it helped a lot! I didn't post it here because I had the ribbon in backwards... Undecided

It's still very gorgeous. Love the outer fabric. White and black = love
