While I have been a city girl all my life, my hubby moved us all out to this little town in Central Texas for his residency training.  We took a day trip to Dallas (the big city!!) last weekend and I thought my little princess needed to be dressed worthy of her urban roots.

Here she is at the Farmers Market in Dallas.

The top is a slightly modified version of Petchy's sundress found here - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=250146.0 and the bloomers are from Butterick 4110 - my personal favorite bloomer pattern.

Read more at my blog http://katiekadiddlehopper.blogspot.com/search/label/Petchy

Thanks for looking! C&C appreciated!

LOL!  I know what you mean!  She's only nine months and I find myself thinking "She needs a baby sister"  then I regain my sanity!!

They are easy.  I love this pattern b/c it doesn't have side seams, so there is only one pattern piece.  The pattern calls for you to make a casing out of bias tape for the leg openings, but that gets a little fussy, so I just zigzag stitch on some 1/4 inch elastic along the casing line (just eyeball about an inch above the hem).  Easy peasy.  I can finish a pair in about a half hour, but it took closer to an hour at first.
