Was the original the one where the birds have little feet and are 4 differant colors? I did a search for a bird mobile to see what the original might have looked like, and I did not care for that one... the birds were really creepy looking!

I love yours, however. It's so simple, and at the same time extremely elegant and beautiful. I really hope that this stays in their family as an heirloom!

I have a cousin expecting a baby in october and have been trying to think of something unique to make them for a while. A mobile is such a good idea.
