I was in the mood to make something cute today and have had these mens shirts I got at a thrift store with the intentions of making into something else. And the result was this top... I started out with a pattern for an 18 months dress and changed it here and there until it became this top for sz. 3-5 yrs.  Roll Eyes
It fits my 3 and 5 year old sons, and they wanted to model it for me but my hubby has this issue of posting pictures of my sons in dresses...  Undecided haha (I am about to have my first daughter, and need the practice making dresses and such)

so anyway...here it is...

Hey, that's a great way to upcycle a shirt!  I love it.  I'm sure it will look very sweet on her.  And I'm sure you're going to have loads of fun with a girl. I sure am!  I had three boys before we had a girl (we didn't think we knew how to make them Smiley

Wow!
I love your dress. I just love the color I bet it looks  better as a dress than a mans shirt.  Grin  This will probably fit as a shirt when she is older if it hasn't worn out from all of the use you will get out of it.

As I look at this I am thinking that this would work out using any of the tutes that are hanging around here for a pillow case dress. With a little tweaking here and there that is :>
