I'm always thinking I need one of these...as well as a mat for my sewing machine to sit on.  And the same goes for my serger.  I have the pattern but finding the time...

I so need one of these. Also one of those thread catcher pincushions.

Come to think of it, I also would like a new sewing machine!

Or the pincushions that wrap around the base of the machine!  It could be a sewing machine accessories swap!   Cheesy

I just got a new machine & can I tell you how far they have come?  I got a fairly inexpensive Kenmore & it is fantastic.  The button holer foot has a place for you to put the button in & then the machine senses how big it is & sews exactly the right button size!  Brilliant!  I had had my grandma's old machine so hey - welcome to the new millenium to me!   Cheesy

Kenmores are know for their button hole attachments my mom's circa 1979-81 came with a button hole attachment that you put the button in and it figured out the size...mine from around 2000 (made by Janome) isn't as good we bought the attachment extra and it sews around a template but in the end it still does a decent job.

The swap could be for a cover or one of those organizers that sits under the machine and one extra (like an attachable pin cushion).

I'm definitely interested.  I just finished rearranging my craft/sewing room and I could use some decor.
