Ok, so this isn't the greatest. In fact, compared to a lot of them here it's just plain crappy, lol.

But I decided to make one for my husband and decided to make it look like a Star Trek uniform. I wasn't thrilled with how mine came out because it's too bulky (but it was the only stuff I had on hand  Undecided ) and the embrodery job is blah (again, didn't have any embrodery thread, so I just used plain thead). I kept off the straps and the snap tab, and just used a big snap on the inside. Well, he freaked out when I gave it to him. He was overjoyed. So thank you for your excellent tutorial! I'll probably try another one to get it perfect!

This is brilliant! I'm definitely going to make one. I bought a plastic case for my DS, but it only holds 3 games and gets scratched pretty easily. The storage on yours is inspired.

I think it's fabulous! I'm a Star Trek fan myself and I love that case!  Well done, I think you should be proud of it!

These look fantastic!
And be thankful about the power cord! In the UK our plugs have three long pins sticking out and they don't fold in like American ones (although I have an American one I have to use a huuuge power converter).  Wink

I need to make one for my husband.

Is there a size difference in the DSI and DS?

My kids have the DS so I designed this pattern around it.  From what I've seen online, the DSi is slightly bigger.  Not sure if this pattern would work or not.  If I can find someone with a DSi, I'll try it in my daughter's case and let you know.
