Hello!

I made a panda backpack for a friend of my daughter--she wanted wings on it just for fun.  This is pretty much the same basic pattern as the Kyo backpack I made a few months ago.

I am still struggling with the zipper though.  No written up pattern, as I am still trying to get that part to my liking.

Thanks for looking!

Grin  The zipper looks fine in the photo.  What a lucky girl to have such an adorable back pack.

I saw the other bag you made and I loved it! I'm trying to make on myself but I don't understand how to attach a zipper. Would you know of any tutorials?

That is so adorable! I love the little wings! And I think the zipper looks fine in the photo. You did an awesome job on this!

So adorable!  I think this pattern would be a hot seller!  Wink

The zipper looks really tricky, tho!  Are you stitching the edge of the crochet directly to the zipper, or are you using interfacing first between the crochet edge and the zipper?

Thanks!  I just sewed the zipper in by hand, no interfacing.

I just went to your etsy site to see if you have listed your backpack pattern, your golden yellow kyo is wonderful as well. All of your stuff is sooo cute...I think I am going to have to run out, get a prepaid credit card (bad divorce - single parent) and get the pattern for the fuzzy monster backpack. Please keep us posted on the kyo/panda backpack patterns.
