Hm.. and I just realized that the 12 Days of Christmas I did this year only felt like a heavy load since I did it in half the time allotted! (I was traveling). So... there's one more "pro" for joining this swap! (Also, I prefer Halloween to Christmas!)

Well, with sign ups starting in June, we will have approximately 3 1/2 months before the first send outdate, so that is a darn good amount of time to get some stuff crafted. I am so glad all are excited and again, looking forward to getting things going soon.

i think this would be neat. what do you think of making it maybe a partner swap. where two craftsters can do it together or split days to help with the cost since it is such a big swap.

Was at LFS this weekend and picked up some of the new line of Halloween fabric out. I have a huge shelf just dedicated to my halloween fabric- plus another shelf that are Halloween quilts in progress. I have been planning my Halloween costume for about a year now, and am pretty sure I know what I am going to be next year too  Grin.

i was just wondering. how do people feel about the non-us craftsters doing this swap? i was wanting to do this swap and i was thinking id sen dmy parcels off as i get them done before the due date, instead of one big parcel on due date.

what do people think?

I looked back and last year we had participants in US and Canada and the UK. My only concern is that someone might not be willing to send as far as Australia due to cost and the fact that items might not arrive on time...

I don't have problem with items being sent as they are finished, and that would be more manageable money wise for some, there just has to be good communication with organizer and partner.

Maybe it would be good to know how many non-US folks want to particpate. All I have noticed is that more and more people are less willing to send out of country and cost is really big for this swap.

I'm pretty sure I spent near $50 just on shipping last year as an indicator.

Everyone's thoughts?
