So.. I was bored today and decided to finish this. I started it like a month ago Roll Eyes

The top of the dress looks funny on the dress form. It doesn't look bunched up like that on me.
I need to trim the bottom and I don't plan on hemming it.

Let me know what you think. TFL  Grin

I love it. It's very pretty. I love the color. Did you dye it yourself?

Thank you! No.. I didn't dye it. I got the fabric (gauze like) at wal mart for 1.00 a yard.
I do want to try to dye but I figured I should use some of what I have before I buy more. plus I want to get good at sewing Grin

Thank You =) That was pretty much what I was going for. Something comfy that I can wear with sandals... & I think I may have been born in the wrong era  Grin cuz I love anything with a hippie feel to it.

It's really cute! I want a maxi dress, but I've been having trouble finding halters or ones with thick straps. I'm not a great seamstress, but I think I might try making one. Smiley
