The dress is awesome! It looks great on you. Did you make the sweater too? I'd LOVE to know where you got it.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! I actually anguished over the decision to buy that bolero... I know I know! It's craftster! But it was the day before Easter and I saw it on my lunch break and had to have it. Embarrassed It is a strapless dress. Debated adding thick straps that crossed at the back until I saw this. Then I knew it was done. I do crochet though, had I the time I should have attempted making it. Sorrrrrry!  Roll Eyes hehe.

I love your dress. It looks so comfy and fun and flattering too! In the third picture you look like a fairy.    Tell your friend that the colors are beautiful in the photos, but she should be careful about the background....you've got stuff growing out of your head. I hope that's not harsh....I just know it's an easy mistake.

Thanks, I like the third one too. And I really like that first one, despite the background boo-boo. She noticed when we got back, but it's okay. It was so nice to have pictures done that made me feel good about how I look, because I can get very self critical. I just appreciate what she did for me, it was great.

You live in a very beautiful place.

Can I come live where you live?? Tongue

This is Canada Baby! We're all about the nature! Cheesy I love it here, it's gorgeous! This shoot was in a conservation area / off leash dog park near Hilarys house. Believe it or not, this little forested area is amongst a mid sized city. We're only an hour outside of Toronto.

I LOVE this dress!  Smiley You and the pictures are absolutely beautiful!!! You should make more and sell them on Etsy - I would buy at least one myself but probably more and would live in them!!!  That fabric with the lacy detail at the bottom is just wonderful. That same exact fabric pattern or just about any other fabric - I would buy it!    Grin

I am a beginner (and have no sewing machine so I am learning to do everything I can by hand)
I hope someday I can sew like you!

Plus - your friend's photos are beautiful!

I have been telling my husband for a couple of years now that we should move to Canada. After seeing how beautiful your area is - I am even more sure I want to live there!

Cheers,
Heather LH

Wow, thanks so much! Send me a PM and we'll talk about it. I don't think I'm looking to sell them commercially because it took me like 3 days, but if you love it that much we can work something out.

I found the sweater by chance. I wish I could say I made it. Given the time I might have been able to, but I had other projects going on for a swap involving crochet, and it was kinda the day before Easter I bought it! hehe.
