Hello there!
Here is my newest project, "SICK VS. MOMMY". Just finished last night, not yet blocked.

Seamless saddle shoulder sweater with extremely large/long cowl. Just the way I like.

6 (or 7, can't remember) skeins of Harrisville Designs Highland yarn. 100% wool. Oatmeal.
(One of the skeins was lighter than the rest. But it works, I think.)

I forget when I started this project. I feel like I’ve been working on it for about a month here and there. But it probably took me 3 weeks to complete. There was a major setback when I realized that a stitch I was originally going to incorporate into the design just didn’t work, so I had to unravel a about half of it all.

Overall I’m very happy with the outcome of this project!

What I’m NOT happy about is that my hands now hurt.

And the high is 70 degrees outside…

i love the subtle colour change in it Smiley also, i've never thought of a collar like that for a sweater, but it's quite brilliant.

Same here!

I have 3 skeins of the "same" color, so I may do the same thing as in your stripe.  And here I was, thinking I could only use my mismatching skeins for small things.

What a great way to keep your neck/head warm. No need for scarves. Cheesy It looks really good on you, too.

Hmm...what does the title mean?  Huh

I like the concept of turtlenecks but hate having tight things around my neck.  As such, I'm really digging your sweater construction -- the warmth of a turtleneck without feeling like you're being choked to death.

Yes, exactly!
I also like the slouchy look of the cowl.

When it's really snowy/cold/windy here in NY, it's great to pull up the cowl to cover your face and ears. And if made a bit longer, you could use it as a hood, too!
