This is my very first stranded project (very exciting!) I made this for my very first swap partner, RockDragon for the HP and the HBP swap. The pattern is HP House Fair Isle Pouch Bags by Rosemary Waits that I got on Ravelry. The yarn is Valley Yarns Northampton in Navy Blue and Gold Heather (which looks more bronze than gold) and I reversed the colors too (gold eagle instead of blue). Anywho, here are the pics!

The final piece with fringe/strap (I did a bias knit strap instead of crochet strap)

The inside before it was lined

The inside detail of the lining and my spectacular hand-sewing skills

All in all, I'm very pleased with it and more importantly, RockDragon likes it  Grin Also-- thank goodness for wool and blocking...it really helped even out the puckering and what-not.

Thanks for looking  Grin

Thank you!!  Grin

I don't think I've ever seen the use of the word "spectacular" with something I've knitted before...you can give a girl a big head  Wink I've actually been trying to adopt a knitting mission, if you will. I'm trying to learn a new technique or perfect a skill with every project I do and it has been working out quite nicely for the most part. I still have to work on my tension with the stranded knitting technique though. I'm going to try knitting with a color in each hand for the next time around!
