I'm getting so much better at sewing and getting back into the swing of things...just like riding a bike.  I made this set for a woman at work who is going to give it to her 14 year old daughter whom she says is a "total girly girl".  Purple Tye Dye purse (pattern by Jordy - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=19288.0) with lavender satin lining & matching wallet (pattern by hdoglovesyou - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=20925.0).  The front of the purse has a pocket too.  White cloudy snaps close them both together and extras were added for show on the wallet.  Enjoy!

awsome  Grin  Another fab version of the Jordy bay!  The material looks great.  Did you dye it yourself?

LOL...I thought about adding that in but decided against it.  No, I didn't hand dye it although it would be cool to say I did if I sell them like that.  I bought it for $2 per yard at Walmart and only used half of it so I can make another set too.  The lining I got as remnant and have used it in many other projects I've made so it was a definite good find.  I love the fabric though, it's cotton but a little on the thick side so it stands up well...of course the interfacing helped as well.

Good job! I really like it. I hope the person who's receiving it loves it. I'm sure she will!
