My daughter is getting married and they want to make a skydive together between the ceremony and the reception.

The colors of the wedding are red and silver.

I would like to come up with some ideas for the invites, favors, decorations, and such.   M daughter has also asked if we can somehow incorporate some of her step-dad's ashes in the wedding.  I do have a necklace with some of his ashes inside.  What would be a good way to present the necklace?

My daughter has also asked if my godfather will do the Apache wedding blessing.   My sense of humor would say something along the lines of "Geronimo"  (an Apache and the joke of what to say when you jump out of a plane)

Well you definately need to use parachutes and planes.  The invitations could even be in the shape of a parachute if you really want to get crafty.  You should see if you could get little airplanes that open up and put candy in them for favors.  I've seen them before but couldn't tell you where.  Check Oriental Trading Post.  They always have some fun candy type things you can get for a really good price.

As far as the necklace with the ashes.  Well she could just wear the necklace for the ceremony.  Not sure if she would want to wear it for the jump but it would be kind of cool because in a way he would be jumping with her.  Another option is to tie the necklace into the bouquet or in the ribbon around it.  Just make sure she has a different bouquet to use for the bouquet toss.

That's all I can think of right now.  Have fun!  It's nice that they want to personalize their wedding.  My fiance and I are doing that also.  Makes it a lot more fun.  Good luck on the planning!
