Ok, so that's 2 crafty people, anyone else?  I have to admit, I'm at best a beginner at pretty much any craft, but I'll never get any better if I don't try. 
Olive_juice, when will you be here and what kind of crafts do you like to do?

I'm coming in this friday and ought to be there until august (when school starts). I sew, paint, can do some beadwork/jewelry stuff, erm... i'm sure there's more, it's just not coming to me. Et tu?

I will be 10 minutes away from you at the end of May.  I sew, loom knit, paint, fuse glass, make jewelry, do fimo sculptures, and more.

Well, technically I'm a bit of a fraud, hanging out on a crafty site and not really doing crafts.  I'm more of an aspiring craftster.  I'm taking a painting class later this month, and I own a sewing machine that I really want to learn to use.  I'd love to do more crafts, but considering I don't know what I'm doing, I have trouble following through. 
I'm off on Fridays in June and July, but other than that I'll be free on weekends.  Some weekdays are cool; I usually finish work around 4pm.

I'm in town now. My sewing machine and fabric is all in storage at the moment but i'm hoping to retrieve it all soon. LOTS of unpacking to do, but once we get all settled in i'd be down for just about anything. :.)

Cool!  I was inspired to make some barrettes for my friend's little girl so I could be less of a craft fraud.  I'd love to try out a sewing project or two once you get settled back in town. 
Do you have a place to sew?  I have a craft room at home and a big dining table if the craft room's too small.

Not so much with the crafty area, as most of my supplies are in storage in Natchitoches. *grumble grumble* I let the bf pack for me, and all my fabric and everything's way at the back of the storage room, but i did manage to keep my machine with me. I've got plenty of room, though. And.... er.... five sewing machines. Three work properly, so we could definitely set up a little sewing room (we've got tons of empty space at the moment).

im in Gonzales, near BR.....I do paper crafts, LOVE to scrapbook, jewelry making, i dont really sew, or anything like that......
