I haven't started yet,  I still haven't found a fabric I like enough that will also breathe well here in Florida, I might end up just going with a bamboo jersey in a solid at this point  Grin

OK. At nearly 8 months pregnant I have to ask... How in the world do you wear this all day? Do you have to get completely undressed in a public restroom just to pee? The look is nice, but I'm just a bit concerned...

I definitely have plans to make a couple of jumpsuits for the baby. I know it's not hard at all to add snaps at the crotch for her, but would that be practical in an adult version? I would think re-snapping it would be a bit like playing Twister...

Yeah, there's no snaps for us just whatever buttons, zips or whatever are on the top portion.  I practically lived in a jumpsuit that had straps (so I wore a tee under it) when I was pregnant with my second child that one was made out of jersey though so it was just a pull down which was quick and efficient when running to the potty all the time.  Grin

I'm in!
As soon as I manage to finish off my patchwork skirt, I want to try my hand at these. I have a couple different fabrics set aside for just this project!

kahlans-mommy: check out the links earlier in this post to violentjayne's jumpers. She has an ingenious butt-flap that is completely functional yet invisible! I want to figure out how to do that and incorporate it.

ok, I posted this on the thread with violentjayne's tut, but here is my completed jumper, first attempt:

I used a very lightweight cotton jersey that is darker than what the picture shows. It has a slight burnout effect throughout as well as some very dark (almost black) slubs. It's FAB-U-LOUS!
It's entirely work-appropriate, and I have gotten a lot of compliments as well as a couple requests to make them for the girls at work. Everyone loves the jumper look, but they are not exactly practical for tiny office stall-bathroom breaks, if you know what I mean...
That butt-flap is the best thing ever!

I made my top larger than violentjayne's to hide my belly a bit, and took out the ruching at the hips. I know that helps pull the butt-flap a bit snugger, but it also makes the pants cling to all the wrong spots on me.
I want to make many more! I have a gorgeous piece of fabric here to make a strapless capri-length one out of, and I think that will be next...
Still working on the patchwork skirt sew-along, as well as an angel package & a couple custom orders for crochet...ugh! Blankets in this weather suck!
