Here are some of my new dresses.
This one is made from a very old pillowcase I just love the colours!

The next 2 are from material I found diving into a remnant bin.

This one can be worn 2 ways...the front as the back or back as the front  Cheesy

So you, could spend the morning walkin with me, quite amazed. As I am unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed.

That pillowcase reminded me of my great grandmother... Before I even read about it being old.

These dresses are so cute as well as the model =)

Great work =)

I absolutely LOVE the green and black one!!! I have a thing for Green!! But I love that you can reverse it and wear it either way!! Beautiful!!  Grin as is your lil' model also! I think I'm going to have to steal you idea and make my lil' one a similar dress to the green & black one if you don't mind! Tongue

Adorable dresses, I love the lace on the first two. My 4-year-old loves to wear dresses, will definitely have to try lace and vintage pillowcases next time I make one for her. Thanks for the inspiration!

Eee! What a great take on traditional pillowcase dresses! I LOVE the yoke detail! Did you use a pattern?

These dresses are darling.  My favorite is the green black and white one with the bow at the back.  Love'em all.

I have some awwwwful old pillowcases of equally retro patterns that I saved from going into my mom's trash when she and her new husband were first moving into their new home... I had no idea what I would do with them, just knew they were too fun to throw out. I love that dress and may have to take a stab at doing something similar with the ones I have, lol!

Anyhow, all of these dresses are gorgeous!!

I love these dresses! Such a sweet simple design. So why cant I figure them out??
Did you sew the lace trim on after adding the solid color insert or was it sewn in at the same time??

Also the little bow, is it removable or permanently sewn on?

Thanks for any help!
