A handmade display especially for the bride and homemade cupcakes...a shower gift doesn't get any nicer than that!

Great job!

How I made the butterflies:

Materials:
Candy Melts- I had Chocolate and Vanilla(which I dyed pink with Wilton's pink icing paste)
Sprinkles
Wax paper
Plastic bottles found in the cake and candy section that is used for putting melted chocolate in.
The pattern of the butterfly.

First you want to put wax paper on top of the pattern. Then I melted the chocolate melts in the plastic bottle in the microwave, but you can do it by the directions on the bag of melts.
Next I took the bottle of melted chocolate and outlined the butterfly wings. After this I put it in the freezer and let it set til it becomes hard. Then I melted the vanilla melts.  After melting the Vanilla melts, I added some color to it or you can get the melts already colored (unfortunately Walmart only had white/vanilla).Then with the vanilla, fill in the rest of the wings and add sprinkles on it before it hardens. Now you can put it in the freezer to it hardens. To put it on the cupcakes I used frosting to make the lumps of the body. I put mini chocolate chips under the wings to make them be at a angle.

here is the pattern I used.

hope that was helpful. Wink
