So my 22 year old nephew and his girlfriend are having a baby boy in July.  We girls have been busily planning the baby shower and "ohhhing and ahhhing" over stuff for the baby.  Of course I didn't want the nephew to feel left out.  So I made him this:

Ta-da!
A manly diaper bag!
It's Simplicity Pattern 2924, His/Her Diaper Bag.   Made out of black denim and brown, green and black flannel.  I left it plain and unadorned so the boy will like it.

The only thing I can say about the pattern is that I think it took me longer to cut out all the pieces than it did to sew the thing together.  Three of just about every pattern piece.... Lining, interfacing and demin.  Wink

The photo shows the front flap kind of crooked but it's not.  It was just me and my poor settin' up for photos skills.

The inside with a couple of pockets.

The back side with a wide pocket.

Thanks for checking it out!
