Wow, thanks for all these comments! Haven't been on here for a while!!
I got the trinkets from a lifetime of collecting things, and buying bulk bags of 'junk' from bootsales and markets, telling myself it would come into use one day! I'm glad they finaly did!!
Yes, using tweezers would be a good idea, though i'm not sure if im dextrous enough for them...!!!

I love, love, love this bed! That is way too cool XD

Also, you're not alone in burning yourself.... I do it constantly. I have come to fear my glue gun as well as love it.

I use e6000 industrial strength glue for projects like this, to avoid the hot glue gun. It works wonders and is super strong. I loooooooove what you've done with all your trinkets. I love collecting trinkets, or as my mom calls them "crap". I have done similar trinket mosaic like projects in the past (around mirrors, picture frames, lighters), but my goal is to do it to a small ikea night stand.

LOVE THE BED, APPRECIATE THE TRINKETS  Wink

here is a link to the e-6000 glue I mentioned, it is THE BEST

I second the E6000 recommendation - that stuff is epic. It's the only thing I've ever found that can glue glass or ceramic together and not come apart when you breathe on it. Of course it works great for other less slippery surfaces, too!

The bed is really cool - I have a bunch of "trinkets" (also, in my household, known as "crap") that I should do something with. It's a great idea!
