I decoupaged shelves for my daughter's room. I wish I had taken pictures before they were done/hung up, but I forgot!
I collected a lot of children's picture books that had missing pages, or crayon markings in them, for free from yardsales/thrift stores/friends, cut out the cute pictures and modge podged them to these ugly unfinished/institution white/and old shelves I found most for a dollar or two. I also painted parts hot pink, or modge podged ribbons on them. All the pictures are from children's books, except for the ones of fairies, those were giant stickers from the dollar store, and by putting the modge on top, I'm pretty sure they're never going to fall off.

These Disney figures my mom actually made for me at a pottery studio when i was little!

I'm kind of a sucker for cartoons, so I think these are great.

Your know what is the favrite about these to me??? My mom free-handed the Mickey, Dumbo, and Pluto 20 something years ago when I was little. She crafted the clay, and the painted them. So even though I'm excited abouted about the shelfs for Lily, I am so thrilleld the figures have lasted this long!!!!

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.
