A few months ago I moved into my boyfriend's house, and most of the crappy decor was here when he moved in, so he's fine with my upgrading it.   I just made this:



to replace this:



Yeah, that old curtain is lace ducks and hearts.  Not really his style or mine.  I don't have the motivation or the funds yet to redo the wallpaper, so the butterfly border is staying for now, and it will just have to coexist as best it can with my new curtain. Smiley

It looks great! I understand about you not having the motivation to take the border down. I just took down a ton of wallpaper and it was a pain. I found that spraying hot water on it really helps though. Also, using a scraper thing helps a lot too.

I love both the curtain, and *blush* the border... But when you go to remove it, try liquid fabric softener, 1/2 hot water, 1/2 softener in a spray bottle Smiley
