I saw the vid! She's really clear in her instructions. Now I just need to get my hands on the necessary supplies (which unfortunately usually takes a while). Still, thank you again for posting! You've absolutely inspired me to try this.

When she was good, she was very very good - but when she was bad she was fabulous.

These are really pretty. I love the colors you chose.  I'm going to have to set some time aside some weekend to play with this.

Thanks everyone!

Actually, I don't even wear earrings at all, lol.  My ears aren't pierced and clip-ons hurt too much.  I just loved the look of them.

Glad I could help!  I think you'll have fun with them.

I am going to make a mandrel soon so it will be easier to coil the wire.  There are instructions on the web, but I will try and show how I got mine together.

One thing I wanted mention to everyone, so that you don't end up tying ends like I did, use the whole length of thread you pull from the skein, you'll need almost every bit of it for the bottom layer.

I'd love to see everyone's creations!

Your post, and the linked one, have all but assured an attempt this summer......drat it all  Roll Eyes, I didn't need another craft.... Resistance is FUTILE!  Wink

I know exactly what you mean!!  This new wave of interest in quilting has got me searching for scraps and buying fat quarters and squares when lord knows I don't need anymore fabric or blankets!
