I asked about making these earrings here:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=302023.0
Please check out the pretty ones from lizard4me2 on that thread.  She did a really good job!

With the help of the wonderful people on that thread, I gave it a try.  I don't normally work with jewelry, but when I saw them on the internet, I decided to give it a go.  I still have some things to work out with the top of them.  Far from perfect, but I love it all the same!

If you have any tips on working with wire, they will be greatly appreciated.
C&C welcome.
Thanks for looking!

Pretty! I'm going to check the thread and see if I give it a try myself. I remember when these were MAD popular in Buenos Aires! Always wondered if I'd be able to make them myself.

Thanks for posting!  Smiley

PS: Completely out of subject here, but I find your enraged-little-girl gif amazingly hypnotic.

Thanks everyone!  I really appreciate your comments because I really didn't know what the heck I was doing.  Sewing is mostly what I am into.

Wow! That's great! My mom just bought me a pair like these at a pow wow 2 weeks ago.

If you really like them you can get them on ebay by the dozens really reasonably priced.

Thank you.  I definitely will!  They, well the one, lol, was really fun to make.

They are pretty easy once you get going.  Very affordable to make since thread is so cheap and comes in a bazillion colors.  Be sure to watch the video if you are more of a visual person.  The lady in it says she couldn't get the right tension to do a third color, but I didn't find any difference, you just don't pull hard.
I know exactly what you mean about the avatar, lol.  Sometimes I find myself just staring at it!
