Back story for the dress: my mother in law found some fabric she really liked, and needed a skirt for a dressing up murder mystery weekend. She took the fabric to her sister, who dutifully made her a gorgeous skirt. once the weekend was over, Marie (mum in law) realised this shade of green is not her colour, and so passed the skirt on to me to cut up and make something for Sophie, my daughter.

So, this is a collaborative family effort dress lol!
