Garbegg Can

Had an unfinished wood garbage can for my daughter's room,that I finally got around to decorating. Spraypainted it purple, then started cutting and attaching eggs. I had a lot of fun doing this!












Originally I was going to make a mural with the eggs in the hallway, so all of my friends started buy up all the Easter Eggs they could find on clearance. I have over 1000 eggs now!!!


So I guess as soon as she gets bored of that.... I'll probably become known as the egg girl on craftster.

That garbage can is adorable!  It turned out so cute!

But I have to say that if my two year old daughter got a look at that big box of eggs.... well, I'd rather not think of that. Or *I'd* have to start buying and begging for eggs.  LOL.

Wow! That is all bright and funky! I wouldn't mind having one of those. I wouldn't mind having a big box full of eggs to play in either!

very cute idea! Bet it makes a really sweet addition to your little one's room,... and the pic of the egg pit is just wonderful...i know my kiddo would have a ball in one of those! lol

Thank you, it does look super cute in her room because I've tried to fill her room with all bright colors, and original objects.
I kept trying to catch a picture of her laughing when she was in the egg pit, but everytime I snapped the photo, she would get really serious looking. It was insane!!

I sliced strips down on the pointy end of the egg, but didn't hit the bottom all the way. Then I used the "mini" egg and glued that on the inside part of the cut egg.
