<edit>
I've uploaded the tutorial to deviantart now - remember the measurements are off.
But rather than getting the tutorial, you really should do this:
Get two pieces of about inch-thick foam, that will measure from the back of the sofa, along the "floor", and to the front. These should be high enough to be "arm rests"
Get one piece of inch-thick foam that will lie along the back of the sofa, and be as long... this should maybe be higher than your arm rests, to be the back of it...
Get a piece of 3 or 4 inches thick foam that will be the base. Of such a size that it fits neatly between your other pieces.
Just measure the mantle area of your foam when you put it into position with eachothers... and cut out pieces of fabric with those same sizes, with seam allowance. Then sew together into shape Smiley

</edit>

I mentioned I should post this, in the first post I ever wrote, but I couldn't find the pic. Now that I did, the pic is kinda crappy, but still Wink

I made this in sixth grade or so, for the cats. It's a fabric cover (sown into the shape of which I stacked the filling) into which I stuck some foam rubber. It's just big enough for them to lie on, and they love it. Especially kittens tend to want to sleep in it all the time, but now, generally the youngest cat of that household (I moved out from my parents house a year ago) tends to sit on it whenever they're in the living room watching tv.

The tutorial has arrived! And it can be found at (Sorry, since my server is down the link isn't working, but if you PM me your address I'll be happy to send you a zip-file containing the html-file and images, of the tutorial)
(edit: The measurements seem to be off. If you think it would be wise, I can remove the tutorial. See this as general guidelines if you want. The measurement-issue is something you can just do yourself. Cut your bottom, sides and back, and place them in a sofa-shape, then just measure the "outlines". It's what I did. It was hard work trying to make a tute for something I barely remember making, so I probably will not make a new one.  And as mentioned several times in the "tutorial", it does not include seam allowance. This is not as difficult as it may seem. I just made an allover cover and stitched along the edges, that's it. It's just a load of boxes if you wish. Do it the way you see fit.)

And if you make one, please post pics here, I'd LOVE to see it if anyone did Smiley

Wow - that looks awesome. Could you post a tutorial? Or just the measurements you used?

Thanks ^^ I hardly remember how I did it, and it's at my parents house atm so I don't have it here..  Undecided
I might try to make a tutorial tomorrow Smiley but I will have to take a look at it first - I know I did some weirdo seams at the front of the armrests for some reason.
