Wall-e Part-e- ;) Lots of pictures!

Okay, so here it is, all the Wall-e goodness!  My husband thinks I'm nuts to do all this, but really, it was fun!   

Any idea how hard it is to be the photographer AND the organizer?  Really hard, or at least I haven't mastered the balance yet,  But here are the few pictures I was able to snap of the crafty goodness I created for this special occasion!

First off, we have the "Place the plant in the Hollow Detector" game.  Amazingly, 5 of the 7 managed to do it blindfolded..... 



Up next was the pinata, with pull strings, which didn't work all to well anyway..........  We ended up having to break it with our hands, which didn't matter to the kids, because they got the goodies from it anyway.  Also, i've learned that if you do this rushed, put a fan to the balloon It dries pretty quickly that way.



Of course, Le piece de resistance, the Cake!

where we live, it almost has to be DIY, unless of corse you want the same party as every other kid. Our selection of party stuff places is very limited.  We've got Walmart (which is being added onto, so selection is minimal) Or the Dollar Store...  Not much to choose from.

Sorry to hear the pinata didn't work so well, but it sure looked great at least!  Wonderful work.  I love the cake.  You did a fantastic crafty job.

Thanks!!   I think the biggest problem with the pinata was I over secured the flap.  So, instead of breaking the ribbons just pulled off, the ribbon that would have broke the pinata held fast for a bit until the kid really yanked it.  But still didn't break the pinata open.  They were just happy to have the goodies inside.  I'm thinking of remodeling the pinata into a lamp,  since its still mostly intact.
